QDX sends text messages about lab results and lab visits. QDX is always the sender, and nobody gets a text from QDX without opting in first.

Practices

How a practice opts in. A practice using QDX adds a mobile number under Settings, Results delivery in the QDX portal (qdx.systems/app). Right under the number, the portal shows what the practice is agreeing to:

By adding this number and entering the code we text you, you agree to receive text messages from QDX about new lab results for your practice. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help, STOP to opt out. Consent is not a condition of purchase. Mobile numbers are never sold or shared for marketing. See SMS terms and Privacy.

QDX then texts a six-digit code to that number. The number gets texts only after the code is entered back in the portal, so nothing is texted to a practice number that has not been confirmed by the person who holds it.

What practices receive.

  • The six-digit code when a number is added.
  • A notice from QDX when a new lab result is ready, with a link to sign in to QDX.

A practice can remove its number in the portal at any time.

Patients

How a patient opts in. A patient starts the conversation: they text BOOK to (469) 981-1351. QDX texts a patient only after the patient has texted QDX first, and only about that visit and its results.

What patients receive.

  • A reply with help booking the lab visit their clinician ordered.
  • The instructions for that visit.
  • Reminders about the visit.
  • A notice when their results are ready, with where to see them. Never the results themselves.

Texts never include a test result, a diagnosis or other health details, and they are never marketing.

How often

Message frequency varies: with how many results a practice receives, and with a patient's own visit. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not a condition of purchase.

Stopping and help

  • Reply STOP (or STOPALL, UNSUBSCRIBE, CANCEL, END or QUIT) to stop all texts from QDX.
  • Reply START or UNSTOP to get texts again.
  • Reply HELP or INFO for help.
